A Celebration of Special Touches
Lila and Ivan first met while in high school and thankfully reconnected later in life through a mutual friend (who must have known they would make a super cute couple.) They recently tied the knot in a Greenville, SC, ceremony filled with an incredible array of special touches and handcrafted details that made William & Kate’s nuptials look like a picnic at the park.
These newlyweds partied the night away with family and friends, celebrating as their talented pals played their own music danced with a vengeance. Ivan’s sweet florist cousin arranged flowers fit for a queen, the bride’s mom decorated, and Lila conjured her inner Martha Stewart and designed jewelry for the wedding party – and even made embroidered tablecloths for the reception. Oh yes, she did!
With an eclectic mix of BBQ and vegan delights to fuel the party, plus an insanely creative mosaic-style cake, Lila and Ivan’s day was truly unique. Their personalized drink cozy wedding favors really threw things over the edge of amazing, and their outrageously adorable son, Jeff, had a total blast (and was ready to take that wedding cake down with a fork and a smile).
In their spare time, Lila and Ivan enjoy playing with their son, going to concerts, and watching Arrested Development on repeat.
Tell us about the most unique wedding favor you’ve ever seen below!

Jessica and Collins – Wedding at Messiah Lutheran Church and Reception at The Upcountry History Museum
Hi guys, it’s Ashley here to share a bit with you about a great couple.
Jessica and Collins are the ultimate outdoor couple, and combining their love of Christmas, the outdoors, and each other, I got to experience their Woodsy Wedding Day!
These high school sweethearts started dating when they were 14 and 15, then after some time apart, reconnected after college. They sealed their vows with a kiss at Messiah Lutheran, the church Jessica grew up in. At the always fabulous Upcountry History Museum, and in front of family and friends, they laughed, danced and rode away in a beautiful horse drawn carriage to start their new lives together. That is, after a fabulous honeymoon in St. Lucia, where Jessica conveniently “forced” Collins to go. Poor Collins!
Help me in wishing these two a fabulous life together as they start fresh out in Colorado, where I doubt they’ll have any trouble realizing their dream of raising a family on a small farm and living happily ever after.
~ Ashley

I love the candids, especially of the junior photographers in training. And of course the horse just fits right in! The others look like they came right out of a Modern Bride magazine.

Gorgeous wedding, and a stunning couple
Felt as proud as if I were the bride’s mama! Loved Jess as my own since she was tiny, and so glad she and Collins have each other. These pictures are stunning, almost as beautiful as the people in them! I too especially like the candid shots, though the others DO look like something out of a bride magazine. Fabulous job!
