Greenville, SC Wedding Photographers | Morgan + Jared are Engaged! | A Chattooga Belle Farm Engagement

Posted on May 21st, 2013 by Craig & Lindsey

We are excited to introduce Morgan and Jared to you today! These two have a sweet (we think) “How We Met” story. They both went to high school together, all four years, knew the same people but never talked to each other. She though he was weird and he thought she was snobby (we promise the sweet part is coming). It wasn’t until after their freshman year of college they wound up in the same social settings on a regualr basis and finally got the nerve to speak to each other. It’s amazing what changes in that first year after high school! After finally getting to know one another Morgan realized Jared wasn’t that wierd and he realized she was actually pretty down to earth.

Five and a half years later, here we are with them at Chattooga Belle Farm photographing their engagement session! We are so excited for their downtown Greenville, SC wedding next month. Enjoy a few of our favorites from their engagement session and be sure to check back again soon for the wedding!

Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer | Grace is Married!

Posted on May 19th, 2013 by Craig & Lindsey

Stunning, glamorous and spectacular are just a few words to help describe our thoughts upon seeing Grace at her bridal session. She was absolutely flawless from her hair and makeup down to the slightly off white color choice for her gown. Everything about her was a perfect compliment to the fabulous woman she is. Quiet, reserved, and sweet to the core…Grace lives up to her name.

We photographed this session in Greenville, SC at the home of one of Grace’s neighbors and wow! They could film a movie there! It was a stunning brick home with a columned front porch and expansive lawns and gardens, which were fortunately just beginning to bloom. What an amazing day to be a wedding photographer! We had a hard time narrowing down our favorites for this session, but we selected some of the best to share with you.

Check back with us soon to have a peek at Grace’s and Trent’s gorgeous wedding yesterday…but for now, enjoy her bridal session below!

Greenville, SC Wedding Photographers | Brantley + Jake are Married! | A Furman University Wedding

Posted on May 16th, 2013 by Craig & Lindsey

It’s the kind of feeling we all hope for. You meet someone and you just know. You know that this is the person you are going to marry someday, and Brantley and Jake are one of the lucky ones that got it right.

After seeing Jake around the Clemson University campus many times and thinking he was just too cute, Brantley finally introduced herself to him one night after they both attended an FCA meeting. And there it was. That feeling. That connection that has stayed with them and grown until they made it official March 9th at a beautiful ceremony at the Daniel Chapel at Furman University. They followed their ceremony with a fabulous reception at the Poinsett Club to top off the traditional, elegant and relaxed wedding day they wanted to achieve.

And relaxed it was. Brantley was the most calm and relaxed bride we think we’ve ever been around. She was much calmer than we were when she realized she had stepped on her gown in mud. Mud, on her wedding dress, before the ceremony. We were internally freaking out but Brantley and Jake were not going to let anything ruin their day. After successfully cleaning her gown, the happy couple continued their good spirits and spoke their vows in front of family and friends in a lovely ceremony.

Brantley and Jake list their family, friends and Clemson University as their greatest loves in life and they showed their love with a few special touches on their wedding day. Brantley included a small pin on her bouquet that belonged to her late Grandmother, reminding everyone that she would be with them in spirit. The happy couple also gave sweet grass roses as favors for the guests because they symbolize everlasting love. And the roses have a special meaning personally to the couple since Jake bought one for Brantley in Charleston when they first started dating…she still has it today. And what would Clemson graduates, who fell in love at the university, do to celebrate at their wedding? Invite the Tiger of course! Yes, the Clemson Tiger himself made an appearance at the reception and danced the night away with the happy couple.

We expect nothing but the best for these two in their future together. We wish them all the love, joy and happiness they experienced this day, always.
