Collard greens, black-eyed peas, and broken resolutions…

The New Years resolution, all of us have one or two and most of us will break it before the end of this month. Our intentions are good, but it never fails that we tend to slip up after just a couple of weeks. This year is going to be different though!! In years past, I’ve set a goal of losing weight, saving more money, exercising more, etc. and even though I’d improve, I never quite attained my desired goal. Well this year, I’m not setting a specific single goal like I have in the past. This year will be different! This year, my new years resolution is simply BE BETTER! Each day when I wake up, I’m going to BE BETTER than the day before. I’m going to eat better, I’m going to exercise better, I’m going to save money better… but most importantly, I’m going to be a better husband, be a better friend, be a better photographer. If I wake up every day and approach each task, each moment and constantly just simply try and do it better than the last time, then come December 31, 2012 I’ll be able to look back and claim this as the best year of my life. How could it not be if I do everything slightly better than the last time.

Along with my new motto of BE BETTER, we’ve also began working on our new 2012 BE BETTER workshops for photographers.
In depth, all inclusive workshops where you’ll have the opportunity to spend the day with us in our studio and in our home learning how we think, shoot, and live. Allow us the chance to show you how to BE BETTER.

From all of us here at Sposa Bella, we want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 2011 was filled with wonderful memories and some of the most beautiful brides we’ve seen, and we can’t wait to see what 2012 has in store for us.
