One Heavenly Day
Oak trees adorned with Spanish moss fluttered above as Marianne and Cody walked hand in hand down the Boone Hall Plantation pathway. Rustic and romantic, their wedding day was filled with treasured keepsakes, moments that future stories will be made of, and not to be overshadowed, an array of sweet treats and cookies that could make you crumble into delicious oblivion.
There was an undeniable spark the night they met. Hopeful about the future, connected by their faith, and of course, their love for all things ice cream, Marianne and Cody’s journey began at an oyster roast and was sealed with a kiss and a first dance at their Charleston, SC celebration. Redeemer Presbyterian provided the intimate setting they always envisioned, sparklers lit up the night, and family and friends put their dancing shoes on and never took them off.
Sprinkled with special touches from the gorgeous wedding dress Marianne borrowed from her sweet friend, to the veil that was her mother’s, and yes, even cutting a rug with the grandparents, Marianne and Cody’s special day was truly picture perfect.
In 10 years, you might just find them out kayaking with their future children…or at the nearest ice cream parlor.
