Let Them Eat (a seriously gorgeous) Cake!
This adorable couple met through Jill’s college roommate (major matchmaking points!). Jill thought Austin was a total gentleman, and well, Austin thought Jill was a total hottie. And whether they knew it or not, that first date would ultimately lead to a first dance as husband and wife.
Their Anderson, SC ceremony was filled with so many memorable moments from the huge smile on Austin’s face as Jill walked down the aisle like red carpet royalty to Austin’s hilarious dad making his mark on the couple’s first kiss (scroll down to see the classic moment!) Friends and generations of family came together to cut a major rug and dig into a cake that was so gorgeous and sculptural it could kick a Michelangelo right out of any museum. Plus, they tied the knot in the same church that Jill’s parents were married in, which made it even more of a “take-your-breath-away-and-get-the-nearest-box-of-tissue” kind of moment.
In 10 years, Jill and Austin will be happily settled on their family farm with two tiny ranchers, soaking up the sun on a lakeside getaway, and getting their Nic Cage and Rom-Com fixes with a heaping helping of Con-Air followed by The Holiday.
