Lindsey and I recently had the pleasure of going to Chicago for business, and after the business was done, we had time for a few days of fun in the city!
Chicago was amazing…the weather was perfect, tulips were blooming all over the city, and the restaurants were fabulous (you have got to try The Girl and The Goat if you’re ever in the area).
On foot, by bus, and by mob bus. Lindsey indulged my morbid curiosity and we spent one afternoon riding around on a cheesy but fun tour of all the old hideouts and shootouts for people like Al Capone.
But one of our favorite experiences throughout the city were the views. The architecture is so beautiful and to have the chance to head up 97 floors in the John Hancock Building to watch the sunset is an opportunity we had to take advantage of. We wanted to share a few of our favorite shots of the city with you guys. Keep in mind that these photos were taken with our very special, super high tech camera…the iPhone.
Millennium Park- the Self Portrait
View from the Navy Pier.
97 floors up
It was crystal clear, and then the clouds started rolling in.
I think the clouds made this sunset even more fantastic.

Very cool! Can’t believe you shot these with your iPhone, or that you got a shot at the “bean” without a million other tourists. 🙂
