Meet the Robertsons! April and Tim that is, a really sweet and caring couple who had a beautiful (although slightly wet) wedding day at High Hampton Inn in Cashiers, NC.

These guys didn’t let a 45 minute rain delay damper their spirits one bit. They kept a smile on their faces as did all of their guests… they were all such troopers! And the beautiful bride did a great job just going with the flow…something she admits she has a hard time doing. But when it’s your wedding day and the guy you love more than anything is waiting out the rain to marry you, you tend to be a lot more relaxed. A little wine doesn’t hurt either 😉 .

After the showers passed, seats were wiped down, guests took their place and the music began. April’s father walked her down the aisle to her waiting fiance where they were married by none other than April’s own grandfather. Now that’s a memory that will always hold a special place in their hearts! Smiles, laughter, and tears followed (as if they weren’t already wet out there), and after such a special ceremony they made their way to their reception.

Now most brides have their hearts set on at least one thing for their wedding day, whether it be a special place to be married, a certain dress or the desire for beautiful flowers. April went to her mother at the beginning of the wedding planning process and shared with her the number one thing she just had to have on her wedding day. The one thing she know would make the day perfect. That something was lighted tambourines.
