Greenville, SC Wedding Photographers | Cindy + Matt are Engaged!

Mountains, miles and complicated relationships tried their best to keep these two apart, but what’s meant to be usually finds a way.

Cindy and Matt were friendly acquaintances for years through Matt’s sister, Kelly, who happened to be Cindy’s college roommate in Wlimington, NC. After Matt graduated from NC State he moved back to the mountains of NC (Highlands to be exact) to work with his dad in their landscaping business. And although Cindy and Matt were friendly and interested, the long distance between them combined with the fact that Cindy felt like Matt was a bit “off limits” since he was her best friend’s brother, made it difficult to realize any thoughts of romance.

All of that changed though when Cindy moved to Columbia, SC, three hours closer to Matt. After only three months of dating each other long distance, Matt proposed to Cindy. Yay!

She was able to relocate closer to Matt and they have been happily planning their wedding ever since. They have currently planned their wedding to take place in Wilmington, NC in November 2013. We are so excited for these guys and we wish them all the best in their future together!
