Beautiful vineyards, church pews in a field, and cowboy boots all around were just a few of the ingredients for Maddie and Pete’s down home wedding. So many simple and rustic touches made for a beautiful day for these two!
The wedding was held at Maddie’s family vineyard in Sky Valley, North Carolina where the stunning bride descended an outdoor stone staircase. The ceremony was set in a field at the base of the vineyard where friends and family sat in old church pews and watched as Pete and Maddie exchanged their vows on the crest of a hill. It was a beautiful fall day and everyone was so excited for this great couple! After the ceremony the guests and wedding party made their way to the tented reception on the opposite side of the vineyard where birds-nests and flowers adorned not only the tables but the wedding cake as well. Throw in some twinkle lights, a few hanging lanterns, a fire pit with a s’mores bar, flip-flops for the guests and that tent was ready for a party! Maddie and Pete wrapped up the night with a fireworks display before they headed out in their vintage ride as Mr. and Mrs. Bartlett.
