Greenville, SC Wedding Photographers | Kristin + Andrew | A High Hampton Wedding
Ok. So when you show up to photograph a wedding day and you find out the bride is in the emergency room- that’s not exactly what you want to hear. And I’m absolutely positive that it’s not what Kristin wanted to happen either.
But after a visit to the ER, a shot to help clear up the allergic reaction, a rushed hair appointment, delaying her ceremony so she could at least get into her wedding dress, Kristin was still all smiles. I don’t know how, I probably would have been an emotional wreck, but she was fabulous! Andrew certainly has a strong woman on his hands, and I know he is thrilled about that.
So after the wedding morning of craziness, Kristin and Andrew had a spectacular ceremony on the lawn at High Hampton Inn. It was wonderful to see the rest of the day go off so beautifully. We all made sure that Kristin was given a glass of wine immediately upon entering her reception- no bride ever needed one more. But she and Andrew danced the evening away with their family and friends, enjoyed good food, great music, and each other.
Kristin had some really special decor at her reception. The silver pieces and pots for the flowers all belonged to her grandmother and they were just beautiful! The flowers were carefully arranged in each container to create such special centerpieces.
After they returned from their honeymoon, Kristin called to thank me and we shared a good laugh over the events of her wedding day. She and Andrew were such good sports about it all and I am just happy she was able to return healthy and enjoy her beautiful wedding.
