Greenville, SC Wedding Photographers | Stacey + Gary | A Huguenot Loft Wedding
There is always a good laugh when you ask a bride what she though of her husband-to be after their first date and her response is “He’s not my type.” Apparently things changed! And it’s a good lesson to us all that things, and people, are not always what they appear to be. In this case, it was a good thing Stacey gave it a another shot with Gary. And he wasn’t about to let her go that easily. His thoughts after that first date were quite different, he knew he wanted to get to know Stacey better.
Stacey is a funny, down-to-earth fifth grade teacher who was super excited about the children in their lives participating in their wedding. She and Gary, who is a police officer, made good on their promise of a fun, relaxed and wild wedding day. They had their ceremony and reception both at the Huguenot Loft in downtown Greenville, SC which is always spectacular. But their event was really beautifully designed and decorated by Joel Kirby with Curly Willow Designs (check out the link below). everything was beautiful with fabulous lounging areas, uplighting, and just glam all around. It was just what they wanted, to be able to be in one area and party with their friends and family. They definitely did that!

Where to start. The first time I met Stacey she made me feel very welcome and comfortable to be around. I am just so excited to have Stacey join our family and make Gary so very happy. I also am so glad that Gary has such a warm extended family in SC I just reminded him that just because we are in the cold north not to forget to come home once in a while. HA HA.
