Imagine this, if you will:
You walk out onto a beauitiful Haiwaiian beach, surrounded by lush, green mountains, the quiet surf lapping onto the sand and there, at the edge of the water, is your incredibly handsome fiance waiting to become your husband. A traditional Hawaiian marriage ritual of blowing through a conch shell announces your intent and is followed by a Hawaiian blessing. You exchange vows, bless a lei with all the love from your heart, envelop your beloved with it, and are then pronounced man and wife.
Sounds like a dream doesn’t it? Well, for Katie and Justin, it was their reality. Beautiful, serene and full of love.
Unfortunately, this photographer didn’t fit in their suitcase, so I didn’t get to experience it live and in full color. 🙁
I did however get the chance to see their beautiful wedding video along with Katie and Justin’s friends and family before they entered their fabulous wedding reception at Zen in downtown Greenville, SC. But before the party, came the photos, and while Falls Park is no Hawaiian beach, it was still a beautiful Spring day with fabulous weather and that’s where I met the happy couple and their family for pictures. They were all such a great group of people to be with and were so excited to hug and congratulate the newlyweds.
After photos, we all headed back down the street to Zen the see thier wedding video and start the party! Katie and Justin enjoyed the company of their close friends and family and celebrated their new beginning together. I was so happy to have the chance to meet such a wonderful couple and want to wish Katie and Justin all the best in their future together!
