Rain boots were considered appropriate wedding attire for Anna and Aaron’s wedding day, and those who had them were certainly glad they did since the heavens decided to open up that day! But from the smiles on everyone’s faces, you would have thought we were on a sunny beach holding little drinks with umbrellas in them. No one- not even the fabulous mother of the bride- was concerned about the rain. Outside tented reception? No problem! Guests slapped on their rain boots and partied the night away with the happy couple!
But before the wedding came the romance, and before the romance was the first date. And on that first date Aaron impressed Anna by behaving as the gentleman he is (opening doors and everything!) while Anna’s sincere and sweet personality dazzled Aaron. Things just clicked for the two of them and they knew they were menat for each other!
After spending a little time with them through different photo shoots, it was easy to see that they are a perfect fit. They are incredibly easy going and kind, and I love that they embrace their slightly nerdy side like I do! The way they look at each other is incredibly sweet and you can see just how happy they are to be in each other’s company.
They were married in the chapel at First Presbyterian Churh in Spartanburg which was charming and perfect for their family oriented wedding ceremony. After saying their I Do’s they hopped on the trolley that carried them to Anna’s family home where the backyard was the site of their beautiful tented reception. Thankfully, the rain let up long enough for some portraits by the lake and they were able to exit their reception by boat which was very important to Anna!
And I know there were some fabulous vendors at this wedding but I have to say that it never would have come together if it had not been for Allie Barham of I Do! Between coordinating trolley pick up and delivery of not only the wedding party but guests as well, all of the vendors having to set up in the rain and get everything ready for the wedding reception- let’s just say things could have gotten a lot crazier if Allie hadn’t been there. Thanks Allie!
Now I would love it if you would help me wish this sweet couple all the best by leaving them a comment below. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hall!
