“Over a Lemon Drop Shot in a bar in downtown Greenville.”
That’s the standard response and running joke from Kylie and Justin when you ask them how they met, and I think it was awesome that their pastor mentioned it during their wedding ceremony! They always seem to get a “Really?!” and a good laugh when they tell that story, but it’s true and was a perfect beginning because it’s led to what they have together now. Justin knew that night that Kylie was going to be someone incredibly importrant in his life. But Justin was everything Kylie didn’t expect him to be, which made her curious to know more about him. And they certainly took the time to get to know each other, and in the process found out how perfect they were for one another!
Kylie and Justin exchanged their vows at Grace Baptist Church in downtown Greenville, SC. They followed that with a great reception at the new Studio 220, which is in the newly renovated Hyatt. The Hyatt was full of great photo ops and I can definitely see it being one of the new “it” places for a wedding in downtown. And Kylie and Justin had a blast taking photos! I was super proud of them because I know that taking photos didn’t start out as a real comfort point for them, but they were ah-maz-ing to work with! And talk about some dancing! Even Kylie’s gradfather got down on the dance floor and man- he could move! Everyone was just so excited to share this day with them and there was so much joy and laughter and yes, there were even some tears but through it all, you could see the love between the two of them and from their families.
I’m so happy to share a few of my favorite images from their wedding day and I hope you will stop and take a moment to leave them a comment below.
Congrats Kylie and Justin!
