Greenville, SC Wedding Photographers | Katelyn + Tim are Married!
Most girls daydream of the day Mr. Right gets down on one knee and asks for her lovely hand in marriage. Some may imagine a romantic beach proposal at sunset or a candlelit dinner at a fancy restaurant.
What Katelyn got was a treasure hunt, the kind where one clue leads to another and so on until her final destination was Tim on bended knee.
What Tim didn’t count on was Katelyn figuring it out before the end.
Katelyn began the hunt on the campus of Clemson University where she and Tim met and attended school together. She had the help of her sorority sisters to complete the hunt, but part way through; Katelyn realized what Tim was up to.
And instead of rushing through the rest of the clues to find out where he waited to pop the question, Katelyn stopped the hunt, returned to her dorm room and…
… painted her nails.
Now before you laugh (as we did because that is stinking hilarious) what she did makes total sense. She’s one smart cookie.
She knew that when he proposed, her sorority sisters and friends would be taking pictures of not just the two of them, but her hand as well, and wouldn’t you know it? She hadn’t had her nails done recently, and pictures of her unadorned nails just wouldn’t do.
When she finally made it to Tim, he was waiting on the dock at the Clemson YMCA to ask for her newly polish hand in marriage. Of course she accepted and the pictures of her hands with her beautiful ring were perfect!
Tim, we applaud you on your creative proposal plan, and Katelyn we are in awe of how well you think ahead 🙂 . Best of luck to you both!
