Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer | Glory + Bo Eloped! | An Old Edwards Inn Elopement

Glory and Bo were my first elopement! I got a call just one week before, as they had just arranged to hold their ceremony at the Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, NC. How exciting! It was just the gorgeous bride with her equally handsome groom, and both of their mothers in attendance. A friend was the one to officiate the small wedding, and they followed it with a simple dinner at Madison’s restaurant at Old Edwards. One of the funniest moments I’ve ever experienced during a wedding was with these two. During Bo’s vows at the “lawfully wedded wife” part, poor Bo tripped over “lawfully” and repeated “awfully” instead. That, of course, sent Glory into hysterical laughter that she could not control. None of us could. Bo just stopped while he was still ahead, or at least while she still thought it was funny ☺

It was right back to normal life for them afterwards so they spent the weekend in the mountains before returning to their new home in Laurens, SC. They have a beautiful two year old daughter who I’m sure was excited to have them back!

Glory and Bo were incredibly down to earth and both special people. Glory is the United States military and she and Bo have both sacrificed a lot in their lives in order for her to serve, and we cannot show them both enough appreciation.
