Working with Madison and Jason was a whirlwind of fun and I know the weeks leading up to the wedding were that as well. Just two weeks before their wedding they both managed to accomplish not only graduating from veterinary school, but getting bridal portraits done, visiting all the family, finalizing wedding plans and eventually…making it to their wedding day.
They arrived to an amazingly beautiful day at the Cliffs at Glassy Chapel. Their guests gathered all around the chapel prior to the ceremony to enjoy the view and take lots of photos 🙂 . The first time I got to meet Jason was at the Chapel and he was totally laid back and excited to get the party started! He couldn’t wait to see Madison but one thing he was sure of was that she was going to be even more beautiful that day than she already was. He wasn’t wrong.
Madison arrived in her lace tiered gown, cathedral veil, circlet headband. With her tall frame and long golden blonde hair, she looked like she just stepped out of a movie screen! Her father escorted her down the aisle and after giving her away, watched as she and Jason recited their vows to one another.
After enjoying the view and getting some photos up at the chapel, we headed back to downtown Greenville, SC for more photos. Since Madison and Jason a longer break between the ceremony and reception, we took the chance for some great photos with their friends at Falls Park. And we love the people of Greenville! They see a bride and groom with a wedding party, and they are incredibly helpful. Everyone shouted their best wishes and allowed us space to take photos. And on such a beautiful Saturday at Falls Park, that is not always an easy task since so many folks were out enjoying the good weather.
Not long after we finished up, it was time for the reception at the Certus Loft at the Huguenot Mill. Madison and Jason had chosen a great menu, which they were excited about and included lots of fondue selections. And yes, there was dessert fondue with chocolate and caramel sauces. I don’t think the dessert section lacked company at any point that evening.
Another spot that was packed was the dance floor. Once it was filled it didn’t empty until the last dance. Everyone took a turn on the floor and showed off their best moves, but all too soon it was time to head out. Waiting outside for Madison and Jason was a beautiful horse drawn carriage. After their sparkler exit, these two animal lovers made sure to show some love to their four-legged taxi. And as I watched all the goodbye waving, the blown kisses and heard the shouts of adoration to the happy couple as they drove off; it was easy to see how much these two are loved. So many people came from all over to be a part of their day and I know how special that was to Madison and Jason.
They are both incredibly special people and I hope they find happiness in all they do!
