Greenville, SC Wedding Photographers | India + Darryl are Married! | A Wedding at Zen

When we talk about India and Darryl, the best way to describe them is they’re just good people. Just all around a lovely couple with wonderful families. We actually had the pleasure to meet India’s family three years ago when we photographed her sister’s wedding, so it was fantastic to see them all again and they are just as kind as ever.

India and Darryl were actually married on Lindsey’s birthday and we had forgotten we had even mentioned it off hand when they called us up for India’s wedding. So imagine Lindsey’s surprise when they pulled out a little birthday cake for her, with lit candle, and sing happy birthday. Of course her eyes filled with tears at such a thoughtful gesture. It’s no wonder Darryl fell for such a charming woman. Of course India is an absolute beauty to boot so add in her loving personality and intelligence and you’ll see that Darryl is one lucky man.

And India certainly got herself a good catch as well. Darryl is obviously a supportive and equally loving man and the two of them together is something wonderful to behold. So strong and affectionate to one another, which is undoubtedly linked to their time cultivating their friendship before they became a couple.

They met through two mutual friends who dated and eventually married, and as their friends’ relation ship grew, India and Darryl’s circle of friends became closer, as did they. They were friends for almost a year and a half before a bowl game road trip cemented their status as a couple.

In January 2010, the two of them headed to Alabama to watch South Carolina play in the bowl game, and while they were there they visited with Darryl’s extended family. Since they weren’t quite a couple yet, the women in his family did their best to figure out just what was going on with these two ☺ And although South Carolina lost the game that weekend, Darryl and India shared their first kiss! Three years later they were scheduled to start their forever on September 20, 2013.

They continued their unwavering generosity by donating to a charity in the names of their guests in lieu of traditional wedding favors. It was so wonderful to be a part of these two special people’s lives that day. We know that with their steadfast love they will conquer everything together and come out on top.

India and Darryl, we wish you much joy and love all the days of your lives.
