Megan and Ed’s wedding day turned out to be a rainy affair, but that didn’t stop them from enjoying every minute. They wanted their guests to feel at ease and included so their entire wedding weekend was laid-back with plenty of southern hospitality.
The day of the wedding was sweetly emotional all around. We love that Megan’s brothers who also acted as her best men, shared one last dance with their sister before she walked down the aisle. Megan and Ed had two good friends perform the ceremony, which was very special to them, and before family photos began, Megan and Ed took a minute to thank their families for all of their love and support. It was such a genuinely heartfelt moment and very touching to witness.
At the reception, more personal touches could be found from the bride’s grandmother’s wedding dress being on display to the wedding cake made from the Ed’s grandmother’s recipe. And thankfully, during the reception the rain let up and a rainbow actually appeared. Of course we raced out for photos during the unexpected sunset that we were all so happy to see. The rest of the evening was filled with dancing and laughter before the night came to an end.
Megan and Ed, we wish you both much joy and love in your future!
