We love a good high school sweetheart story! Beth and Drew met in high school and shared a couple of classes the first few years, and when Junior Prom rolled around, Drew really wanted to take Beth but was one day too late in asking! Some other lucky fella had already swooped in and asked Beth to go, but Drew was not to be defeated two years in a row. Senior year, he made sure he got in that request in plenty of time! And that was the starting point for these two incredibly sweet people. Beth and Drew gradually began dating after prom and then continued through both of their college careers; he at the Citadel and she at Clemson University.
Their wedding day was filled with wonderful traditions and fun with family and friends. But the most special detail for this beautiful bride was that she was married in the same church her parents were married in. In order for that to happen, Drew had to give up his dream of marrying at the Citadel’s chapel. But we don’t think it was a hard decision for Drew, we’re pretty sure he’d do anything to see Beth happy ☺ !
