Carmen and Max were so wonderful to work with! They were married just a couple of days after South Carolina’s big “snow storm” and downtown Greenville still had big piles of plowed snow and icy steps to maneuver. But that didn’t seem to stop any of their guests from coming out and showing their support!
They were married at Grace Church where Carmen took a private moment with her family while she had a first look moment with her father. He had not seen her in her gown at all so it was a very special moment for all of them to laugh and cry together. That evening as the sun went down, the wedding party and guests enjoyed two beautiful songs by the same soloist that sang at the bride’s parents’ wedding 30 years before. And following their beautiful evening ceremony enjoyed a nice quite walk downtown where we stopped for photos along the way. When they arrived at their stunning reception at the Certus Loft, they danced the night away to the high-spirited performance of the Answer Band, and at one point Max surprised his bride with a fabulous show on the drums. If the band ever needs a new drummer, I know where they can find one!
And although Carmen and Max had hundreds of guests surrounding them, you could see the strong bond that have with their families. They danced and partied with their parents and siblings and truly enjoyed the time with one another. They were all smiles!
At the end of the night Carmen changed into a beautiful sparkly silver party dress for their exit. What bride doesn’t love a reason to buy another fabulous dress?! Friends and family lined the walk and cheered on the new Mr. and Mrs. with a sparkler send off as they made their exit in great little convertible. And despite the chilly night, Carmen had Max by her side to keep her warm, now and forever.
