Always His Little Girl | Fathers & Daughters

The wedding day. One of the most memorable days for any parent as they watch their sons or daughters marry the one they love. It’s the day where parents reflect back on the years and ask, “Where did the time go?”

And fathers especially, as they give their daughter to another man, hope that man will love and protect her the way he always has and always will. It can be very bittersweet. He can still picture the little girl in pigtails running around and the tears she shed over the first boy that broke her heart. And all that time, he was there to remind her of how amazing she was and that one day, she would find the one man who deserved to call her his wife.

And that day is finally here. And he’s walking her down the aisle and he gives her away, and she’s married and it’s time to dance with her. But she’s not that little girl anymore, she’s too big to dance on his feet.  Then smiling at him eye to eye and she’s says “I love you Dad, thank you.”

Those moments never fail to bring tears to our eyes and we hope you enjoy some of those most precious memories with us.
