Kylie and John chose to have their engagement session in our very favorite location to shoot! The city of Greenville, which has won so many awards for the downtown, Falls Park, and it’s Main St. that it’s hard to keep track. But anyone who lives here knows why. The heart of the city is built around the Reedy River, it’s beautiful waterfall and the impressive 32 acre Falls Park. I wish I could have my yard landscaped like the flower filled gardens around Mary’s Cottage and Passerelle Bistro, they are stunning every season of the year. Craig and I moved to downtown Greenville last fall and if it is a nice evening you will find us strolling to one of the many fabulous restaurants (or the 100’s of food, wine, beer, craft, and social events). We are so lucky to get to live here!
Our first stop on the pre-wedding session was across the Reedy River in Falls Park for a great view of the waterfall. Kylie and John brought along their furry family member for a few photos…
Next stop was the gardens and brick paved walkways around Mary’s Cottage. Aren’t they a fine looking pair!
After a quick outfit change, we headed to Main Street bridge for the iconic view of Greenville along the river, with the Wyche Pavilion and Peace Center in the background. This area holds a special place in our hearts, Craig and I were married in the Courtyard at Larkins on the River and held our reception at the Wyche Pavilion 11 years ago this spring. The area has grown so much since that time, it is just incredible.
Next stop, the engineering marvel that is the Liberty Bridge!!! Although I’m sure it is safe, I always get butterflies when the bridge sways with the motion of everyone walking across it! This is a popular spot for proposals and many of our brides and grooms choose to have a quick photo session on their wedding day highlighting the Liberty Bridge and Falls Park.
Congrats Kylie and John, we can’t wait for your wedding at Revel Events this fall!!
