The Southern Bleachery Ceremony and Reception | Ashley and Neal
Ashley and Neal chose a very unique and rustic venue, The Southern Bleachery to be married. It just fit the relaxed feeling they wanted for their special day. And it did not disappoint! The venue is inside the Taylors Mill, a one million square foot facility that is being loving restored for artists and businesses in upstate SC. Being just 10 minutes outside of Greenville, it is a perfect spot for a wedding venue. And it is a photographers dream, a place that draws the creativity right out of you!
We actually photographed Ashley’s mother’s wedding a few years ago, so I was thrilled when she called to say she was engaged. Specializing in weddings, we typically work closely with our clients for a year and then they are gone from our lives. So working with a former client’s friend or family member is always a special gift to get to see them again. And we were excited to work with such an emotional family…it was a very special day! Like Craig and I, Ashley and her family are cryers and needless to say a lot of tears were shed in front of and behind the camera.

This 100,000 square foot room at the Southern Bleachery is completely surrounded by large windows on all sides. It was the perfect spot for their first look.
