I am so excited to share Allie’s bridal session…now that she is married of course! Allie chose to travel to Chattooga Belle Farm for her bridal portraits…one of our very favorite venues to photograph and you can see why. The 180 degree view of vineyards and mountains is (IMHO) one of the prettiest views in South Carolina. And even if you are not getting married, the farm is worth a visit for their u-pick orchards of apples, peaches, muscadines, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, persimmons, paw paws, Asian pears, figs, and more. While you are there you must eat a lovely farm to table meal prepared by Belle’s Bistro. Visit their website to plan your visit today www.chattoogabellefarm.com
Back to the stunning bride, I can honestly say we have never had a bride with a dress quite like her’s. Formal, fitted, and be-jeweled on top, with 100’s of layers of tule on the bottom. It looked like she was walking on clouds! And the cathedral length veil just glows in the late afternoon sun. There is no better time to be photographing outside than the 30 minutes to an hour prior to sunset. The light is golden, soft, filtered, and flattering in a way no indoor studio lighting can replicate!
And thank you to Allie’s family for entrusting us to capture this special time in their families lives. We photographed Allie’s sister Ashleigh’s wedding last year, and when their mom called us for Allie’s date we were thrilled. They are a close and emotional family, who we just adore being around. And without further ado, I give you Allie…
