Nothing makes for a great wedding like an intimate ceremony and a festive reception. John and Kylie’s wedding had both.
We absolutely adored shooting this couple! They were the sweetest people with such a fun-loving spirit. Every detail of their wedding centered around making sure it was both lively and comfortable, thanks to the work of Sam from B&R Events.
The ceremony itself was held at Pretty Place chapel, one of our absolute favorite places to shoot. The couple provided Cuban sandwiches for each guest for the drive up to Pretty Place as well as blankets to keep guests warm during the ceremony.

Wow. This was a crazy, fun reception. Some of our favorite details were the cigar bar (Kylie’s family owns Padron Cigars – the family and the cigars are from Cuba) and what they call “loco hora” (crazy hour) of the reception. At 9PM, just after dinner, they had a Bongos by Kelly Jo march into the reception, followed by the Brazilian Fusion Dance Company dancers, and an aerialist from Maya Movement Arts suspended from the ceiling. This was a complete surprise to all the guests!
