It's little moments like these that wedding photographers can capture, that freeze a moment in time forever. When this photo was taken, the happy couple had just exited the church. They had only been married a few minutes prior.
We asked the newly married couple (Leslie and Russ) to put their arms around each other and smile at us for a photo. While I photographed the traditional photo of the couple showing their faces, our second photographer moved to the side and captured the groom's new ring shining in the sun, resting on the small of his new wife's back. I just love the shadow pattern the sun makes when it is blocked by the lace veil on the back of the bride.
