Sarah and Wally are from Greenville, SC, however, they decided to have a destination wedding in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico. All of their friends and family were happy to escape the winter in upstate South Carolina traveled to the warm beaches of Mexico. The bride and groom chose to do a first look, of which I am always a fan!! So we had plenty of time to walk around the resort and beach at the Royalton Riviera Cancun. This photograph was taken as the couple walked hand-in-hand down the powdery white beach. When they were positioned perfectly in the middle of two palm trees we snapped a photo using a prism as a reflective surface. A few small details that you might not notice at first glance, my favorite being the crescent moon that is visible in the top of the photograph, just to the right of the first palm tree. It is also repeated in the reflection of the prism below. The other detail I love is the way Sarah's dress swirls behind her in the wind, just like the palm trees above.
